Incomplete NAND Dump - Synan - 06-03-2010 Hi, I'm trying to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Dolphin, but I can't get past the opening settings about saving my game. When I try to tell it to create a new save file, it says it can't. Then, if I select the option to not save, I get the following error and the game just stops: There must be a ticket for 00000001/00000002. Prolly your NAND dump is incomplete I think "Prolly" is a misspelling of "Probably". Correct me if I'm wrong. Can anyone help me with the save problem. If not, then the NAND error? Thanks. EDIT: Fixed the problem. Don't worry about me. RE: Incomplete NAND Dump - Macdaddyfreshy - 09-17-2010 HOW DID YOU FIX IT? Hey Guys, I just signed up to to this forum so i can post my findings on how to get rid of that silly "incomplete NAND dump" message that a lot of people have been getting.. I'm new to these forums as i am usually a "know it all" in the Computer World LOL, so i apologise if this is against the rules which i don't think should be! Only took me 20 minutes to figure it out.. Step 1. Download NUSDOWNLOADER 1.5a (Beta) just search on google you will find it! Step 2. Run the program and at the top click on Extras and Select Emulate Wii System Update, and Select USA. It should only take a few seconds and you will see this at the end of the results - Outputting results to NUS script... - Script written! - Run this script if you feel like downloading the update! Step 3. Go To Extras again and this time select "Load NUS Script" and select the Nus file you have just created.. Step 4. Once all the files have downloaded, there will be a lot of folders in your NUSD folder. All you need to do here is Scroll down to the folder 000000010000002Bv3607 and Cut & Paste all the files that are inside the folder EXCEPT cetk and tmd.3607 into the Root Directory of the DUMP folder.. so Dolphin>User>Dump AND THAT'S IT. YOU'RE DONE! ENJOY.. I've tried this with Super Smash Bros Brawl and it worked Also it allowed me to create a SAVE file... (AWESOME)!! I Wonder if it works with other games or if it corrupts it i am not sure! I have not tried any other games as yet.. Let me Know how you guys go playing other games. (does it corrupt or do they run fine even with the dump files) *Please note, about the Wii menu, I haven't looked into it as i run games directly from ISO.. or maybe someone has already found a solution.. If not let me know and i'll work on it some more. Good Luck Guys & Have Fun! RE: Incomplete NAND Dump - ohnoeee - 03-31-2011 I am having this exact same problem. I tried downloading the NUSDOWNLOADER 1.5a, but noticed that there's a 1.9 version out, so I tried both. The problem with your explanation on how to use it is that as soon as I select Emulate Wii System Update, and Select USA, it gives me an error saying "data of the root value is invalid". So instead I tried the 000000010000002Bv3607 under Database - isos in the 1.9 version, and it seemed to get me somewhere without an error. But when I go to throw these files directly into the dump directoy - 0000000a 0000000d 0000001b 0000001c 0000001d 0000001f 00000003 00000005 00000009 00000010 00000015 00000016 00000018 00000020 00000021 It doesn't seem to make any difference, I get the same problem. Can anyone with a Dolphin r7420 please make a rar with their directory files and post it here so I and other people can play Brawl on the emulator? I own the game and system for it... but my wii stopped working and I just got this new computer. I've been hoping for the day I can play this game again for a long time. RE: Incomplete NAND Dump - Youdaguy - 12-26-2011 Yeah, I know, this thread is old, but I have found a fix for the problem listed here (Duh, duh duh DUUUUUUH!). It works with Dolphin 3.0 and the NUS Downloader version 1.9. With regards to the previous post: (03-31-2011, 06:43 AM)ohnoeee Wrote: I am having this exact same problem. Use Dolphin 3.0 and the NUS Downloader version 1.9 (the previously mentioned programs), and have the game file (the A: .WAD file, B: .ISO file, C: Other Dolphin-compatible file) ready. II. Open the NUS Downloader and type "000000010000002" in the Title ID box and "513" in the version box. This will download the Wii System Menu version 4.3U. This actually works, unlike using the "Emulate Wii System Update" button. Before clicking the download button, CHECK THE BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM LABELED "Pack WAD"! This will pack it into a WAD file, which Dolphin needs in order to load the menu (if you don't, you'll need to stop the download and start over, or even do it all over again). Don't worry about labeling it, NUS does this automatically when you enter in the Title ID. Warning: The Wii System Menu takes a LONG time to download. Get something else to do, like a java game, after clicking download. IV. Open "<Dolphin install directory>\User\Dump". Copy and Paste the System Menu WAD file into this folder. V. Open the Tools menu in Dolphin, and click "Install WAD". Browse to the folder containing the System Menu WAD, and double-click on the file. And that's it! To open the Wii System Menu in Dolphin, go to Tools and click "Load Wii System Menu". Thanks for reading my post, and I hope this solves your problem. I followed your instructions and was able to resolve the issue. However I need to correct your NUS Title ID as follows: 00000001[color=#FF0000]00000002 I learned of the correct title ID by visiting a "title database" I discovered after reading through "wiibrew.org" and looking under "00000001: Essential system titles" where it states: 00000001-00000002 System Menu I knew the Title ID was off by a digit and I guessed it was a zero but when I saw the above info on the wii brew website I looked over the title ID you gave in your post and noticed that 00000001 was a full set of 8 digits and that the 00000002 part only had seven...so I added a zero and success. You were right it takes a long time to down load the new menu system for the wii. Thanks for the warning about checking the "Pack WAD" box because it would take so long to re-download it for the sake of getting it packed as a WAD! Then I just followed the rest of your instructions. After I loaded the new menu once per your instructions I had to stop emulation then load the new zelda game...after this some how the new menu system came up and I was able to choose skyward sword on the emulated wii menu. But now I'm at a point where I'll need to go to the store and buy a wii with wii motion plus because it's required for skyward sword and not emulated...fantastic! Thanks RE: Incomplete NAND Dump - archieron - 09-21-2012 hey I GOT TO STAGE (V) and when i try to install it says "WAD installation failed: error creating ./user/wii/title/00000001/00000002/title.tmd what do i do now (12-26-2011, 02:45 PM)Youdaguy Wrote: Yeah, I know, this thread is old, but I have found a fix for the problem listed here (Duh, duh duh DUUUUUUH!).
