Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Help -What Revision? - kingb33 - 04-28-2009
Does anyone have this game running successfully? Ive tried it on 2731, 2962 and 2755 w/ no luck at all. I load up the ISO and the screen is just totally black. I saw on youtube someone playing this on Dolphin. He was using 2754 but i cant find that revision anywhere at all.

Is this the only revision that runs this game? Do you have to use a specific OGL plugin (2560) like he was in the video? I just use the default that came with the install. Is there like a place to get all the older revisions of Dolphin in a revision archive? there seems to be a lot of them...
This is like my favorite game

hi thx for the response i edited it to this:

It still doesn't work
but one thing did change. When i launch the .ISO that black screen does show my CPU / Graphics info now before it goes all black. Do you have this game working?BTW what is the difference between Dolphin.exe and DolphinIL.exe?

The Wii patcher and Wii Scrubber....but there was no error 2 found in my ISO file to fix.
Does anyone have this game running successfully? If so what revision are you using? Was there something special you had to do to get it to run correctly?

I got it to work by doing the following:
1) Disabling Dual-Core (Having it enabled decreased my FPS)
2) Enable Safe Texture Cache
3) Enabling the SMG Hack (the intro video will still now be black but just press a button and it should go to the title screen)

Hi Layer, what Dolphin revision are you using for it? And what version of the OGL plugin? Also where do you enable the SMG hack? I dont see SMG anywhere
I tried what you said and it actually worked but:
1) i can see the intro movie but cant seem to skip it and then when the game actually starts, the screen is totally black and but i can hear the game playing in the background?

1) I use Revision 3094 (it's in the screenshot I attached) and the plugins that came with it.
2) The SMG (or Mario) Hack is located in the Advanced section of OpenGL plugin configuration - in the same section as Safe Texture Cache
Make sure you activate the Mario hack after the game has started
3)I use my controller as a classic pad config - so once the intro video starts you should be able to hit the home button (default is U for classic pad) and that should take you to the Title screen
