dolphin not working please help? - doop - 05-28-2010
hi
i am using win xp pro sp2 and dolphin 2.0 but all i get is no wiimote plugin error then core error?
i have tried to update dx to 10 but it will not do do it i looked on youtube for a way around it and found a file abcd123.rar that claims to do it file only 5mb dx reports 10.4 but either way does not work i downloaded c++. still does not work...
is there away to get dx 10 working properly?
was using dx 9 i think before the dx patcher...
any other solutions?
please please help me...

You can use DX10 on windows xp, the dll's have been made compatible by hackers a long time ago.

Caution: It's hard to remove if you decide you don't want it anymore, and some DX10 pc games will demand your OS is vista or higher to boot, and there is no workaround for it.
Doesn't matter though, and is irrelevant since dolphin only uses DirectX9 and OpenGL functions depending on your plugin choice.

hi,
how do i show you my configuration? is there a way to get it to output to a txt file or something?
also when i go to select a wiimote plugin it is empty why?
and if i go ahead and reinstall windows 7 that came with my computer (i formated it and installed win xp, coz i thought it was kind of bloated) will dolphin work fine or do i need to install software aswell?
