n00b controller question using keyboard - cnico88 - 05-24-2010 So it's my first time using Dolphin and I've done my fair amount of research before jumping in. I downloaded the latest version of Dolphin off the website. Obviously I updated my graphics, audio, Visual C++ and Direct X to latest. I am using a Super Mario Galaxy ISO and the game starts to load, sound loads, graphics are nice and then I get hit with this message: "connect a nunchuck to player 1's wii remote" I went to the thread dedicated for this game and checked all the boxes that were necessary. I looked in the settings and it says that the wiimote is set to virtual and keyboard. I am using the keyboard for now but something is not right if I get this message. Specs are: Windows 7 x64 Intel Core i7 860 @2.8GHz XFX Radeon HD 5870 4GB DDR3 RAM Asus P55 1156 board 1TB Western Digital Black screenshot:
RE: n00b controller question using keyboard - Billiard26 - 05-24-2010 This question is asked all the time, about an hour ago even. Search next time. Wiimote config, set extension to nunchuk. RE: n00b controller question using keyboard - cnico88 - 05-24-2010 Thanks for the quick reply. That was useful and I was able to play the game. However I got to this part where it said to shake the nunchuck and I assigned "F" as my shake motion and I keep pressing it but it doesn't work. Any ideas? RE: n00b controller question using keyboard - Billiard26 - 05-24-2010 You need to shake the wiimote, not the nunchuk. :/ |
