Poor Performance - bidon - 05-21-2010

Hello everyone, I'm new here and started fooling around with Dolphin very recently. I'm a bit disappointed with the performance that I get ingame.

I've downloaded the first official version from the main website.

My specs:
CPU: Intel I7 920 (@2,66Ghz)
GPU: ATI Radeon 4870 HD
RAM: 6GB DDR3 triple channel
OS: Win7 Ultimate 64bit

My settings in Dolphin:

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? If you need some more details just tell me.

Thanks in advance! Smile

Edit:
It even looks like I have better performance on my laptop.

Hello Naoan and thanks for the quick reply. I've been browsing the forums but I didn't found the performance link, I'll check it out.

I've only a couple of games but Mario Kart Double Dash & Pikmin give me an avg. 30 fps

Thanks, will give it a try! Wink (Do I know you?) :p

When I run my games in Direct3D they go way too fast. (speed jumps to 1600%)

Use the frame limiter in the general options , set it differently and try , 60 or 50 maybe 30 or even AUTO !

I dont think I know you , but in my language Bidon means something really funny xD

I've got Mario Kart Double Dash & Super Mario Wii running smooth now. (60fps) Luigis Mansion crashes at the intro now though.
Thanks for the tips guys!
