[Wii]Megaman 9 - Flicker or slow - Maverick Zero - 05-15-2010 Hello, I have some problems running Megaman 9 on Dolphin. I tried to use OpenGL, in 640x480 resolution, real XFB, EFB copy to texture, safe texture cache fast. Game almost runs perfectly, the only issue is, that although the emulator states game speed 100%, 60FPS the game is very slow (almost half speed). I then tried to use DX9, same resolution, EFB copy to texture, EFB scaled copy, safe texture cache fast. With this setting game speed is almost normal (some minor slow downs now and then...) but the graphics are a bit messed up (like cutscenes text, health bar, e.g.) and the screen has some strong flicker. So either I play with good graphics in slow motion or I play at normal speed and get headaches ;-) Is there any solution for this problem? I already searched the forum but founcd nothing conclusive. PS: System specs: Athlon II X2 6000+ (2x 3,1GHz) Radeon 45xx series 2 GB RAM RE: [Wii]Megaman 9 - Flicker or slow - AmienZero - 05-16-2010 try giving this thread a read. Megaman 9 and 10 garbled graphics. both MM9 and MM10 suffers the same problem. Version 5341 introduced the strangely garbled graphics that hasn't been fixed yet. After version 5367, you will at least get rid of most of the graphical issues other than the garbling. To get some sort of remedy for that, try resizing the window manually until it looks right. For me, it is very close and playable at 648x515, but is a bit small on my resolution to play well. Try setting it to that resolution then, when you start the game, resize the window one pixel at a time until it looks right. Make sure you've enabled XFB (But not Real XFB) in DX9 also. This is where your flicker comes from. |
