Twin Snakes issues - Base reg not RBX? - Silverman - 05-15-2010 Hey guys, first post... clearly I have a problem. I am trying to play Twin Snakes on this thing and am having a hell of a problem doing so. I am pretty computer savvy and use ePSXe pretty easily, but Dolphin 2.0 is giving me some weird issues! I want to refer back to this posting... http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-1029.html Basically I go to play the game and it crashes on me... the first error is: "BackPatch: Base reg not RBX." Then the shit hits the fan with 100 more error pop ups. I can "hold enter" through them, but Dolphin eventually crashes. Any luck with this issue? Maybe I am noob? Windows Vista 64 bit 4 GB Ram Q9550 @ 3.4 Ghz SLI 8800 GT OC Lastest nVidia and Direct X drivers are installed. [EDIT] I tinkered with a lot of the settings (not sure what a lot of them do) and the RBX error doesn't appear that much anymore... but the game still won't go past the initial Konami logo screen. RE: Twin Snakes issues - Base reg not RBX? - skid - 05-15-2010 Try it with a newer (SVN) version of Dolphin. You can download some at http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html RE: Twin Snakes issues - Base reg not RBX? - Silverman - 05-15-2010 (05-15-2010, 10:06 PM)skid Wrote: Try it with a newer (SVN) version of Dolphin. What features should I change to correct this? RE: Twin Snakes issues - Base reg not RBX? - skid - 05-16-2010 The game runs slow in Dolphin for everybody. There are no settings to correct this. |
