I think is a black brick. No solution. Do you have bootmii and nand backup?
Or even preloader?

RE: Wii Brick! - James333 - 05-09-2010

Did you installed bootmii and/or made a nand backup ?

RE: Wii Brick! - shawnanastasio - 05-09-2010

i have bootmii as an ios and i do have a nand backup
and i had preloader but i tried to upgrade, thats what bricked it, it also removed preloader

RE: Wii Brick! - achaw - 05-09-2010

Then try to restore the backup with bootmii

RE: Wii Brick! - shawnanastasio - 05-09-2010

how?? i cant start bootmii i just get a black screen when i turn on the wii

RE: Wii Brick! - achaw - 05-09-2010

You have bootmii installed on boot2 or IOS?
If you have installed as IOS, will not work, and there's nothing to do.

Find a way to flash your nand back ( infectus ? )

Look at Daco's favorite site GBAFail

RE: Wii Brick! - KHRZ - 05-09-2010

Did you update to Wii menu 4.2? If so it can have been a complete brick with the bootloader (can happen even if you don't have homebrew)

RE: Wii Brick! - shawnanastasio - 05-09-2010

i was upgrading to wii menu 4.0, i have bootmii installed as an ios.

now...what is infectus?? is it a hardware nand modifier or something??
here is some more information:
i was upgrading to system menu 4.0 with waninkoko's 4.0 updater.
the update appeared to work, it said update completed than hung. i didnt know what to do so i turned my wii off. and now when ever i turn the wii on i am left with the same black screen that i got after updating.
before the update i had preloader and bootmii as an ios. but i think the update removed them.
