Frontside refers to old forum - neverknown - 05-03-2010 Hi all! So it seems there are two forums and I was already wondering why there aren't any threads later than 23.03.09. I don't know which links I used to get to the forums but I'm fairly certain I used both, the one on the top and the one on the left side menu both named "Discussion Forum", leading to http://www.dolphin-emu.com/forum/index.php , which is embedded into the main page. I registered for the old one, not knowing a newer one exists. I clicked on the forum link again and magically got me here, to this forum where i needed to register again >_>. Now the links are always pointing to the new forum.. I cant replicate it :/.. I dont have a clue how that happened but yeah, thought Id let you know. thx for your nice emulator! bye RE: Frontside refers to old forum - shuffle2 - 05-03-2010 na, it doesn't...it was probably just your browser caching the old page. RE: Frontside refers to old forum - neverknown - 05-04-2010 So did it change the day I was on there? Cause I wasn't on this site before! RE: Frontside refers to old forum - shuffle2 - 05-04-2010 It means your computer kept an old copy of the site, and didn't update it until you had visited once again. On many browsers, you can force the cache to be refreshed for the page by pressing control+f5... RE: Frontside refers to old forum - Xtreme2damax - 05-04-2010 I think he mentioned that he hasn't visited the site before so it wouldn't be in his cache..
RE: Frontside refers to old forum - Apostacious - 05-05-2010 when you register from the front page it sends you to that forum. |
