Graphics plugins issues - lorre851 - 04-24-2009
Hey guys!
A few days ago, i discovered this emulator on youtube. I saw it in action, and i was really impressed!
Now, i wanna use this on my computer too, but both on XP x64 and Vista Ultimate, I get some issues:
I've tried to run Sonic Unleashed on this emulator, so i clicked it. Then a black window appeared, with "cleared code cache" (and a whole bunch of other things) in yellow letters on it.
Now, the problem is that my screen stays black from this point (but I can hear the audio). I've tried to use the DX9 - plugin, but i can't select it in the configuration screen. I've allready downloaded the CGD3D9.DLL and i've updated my drivers and my directX, but nothing worked...
Does anyone know how I can solve this issues?

Windows XP x64 SP2
nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB
Intel E5300 Dual Core @ 2x 2.6Ghz
3GB of DDRII RAM

hey lorre851 (remember me from pcsx2
)the dx9 plugin doesn't currently work (you could get one of the old ones
), but the opengl one is the only one that works

Ok, OpenGL should work, but the problem is that it doesn't work on my computer for some reason (black screen...)

check to see if you're gpu supports opengl 2.1

Installed anything on that list, updated both drivers and directX, but i still get a black screen.
I've also searched on Google and i found this: http://www.pixmania.nl/nl/nl/1123480/art/gigabyte/geforce-9600-gt-1-gb-ddr3.html (it's dutch, so i don't think you'll understand it
), and it says that the 9600GT has both DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1 compatibility.

well you could look at the compatibility of sonic unleashed here

but you better stick with pcsx2 (sonic unleashed is now fully playable with it, using the latest ZZOgl plugin
