PS2 guitar controller compatible with dolphin? - Toit Toiger - 03-18-2010 hello, does anyone know..or even better..has anyone played a guitar hero game on dolphin using a ps2 guitar controller? 'cause i just recently bought a wired guitar and i have one of those ps2 port to usb adapters..and can't wait to play =] RE: PS2 guitar controller compatible with dolphin? - nosound97 - 03-18-2010 Only if there's some program that can bind keyboard mappings to guitar, otherwise no. RE: PS2 guitar controller compatible with dolphin? - Ocean - 03-19-2010 Well I used a PS3 guitar, not sure how comparable it is to PS2 guitar, but it's fully mappable if you use JoyToKey 3.79. Go to options, select guitar and then select options->controller->configure keyboard and map the keys. I tried it on guitar hero metallica on dolphin & made a thread for it but I kept getting 0 score on all songs because it would respond with delay/lag. So I switched to emulated GH3 guitar which responded much better. If the jtk app doesn't work for you, I suggest using the emulated guitar under extensions. Though, a bigger problem is that there's crackling audio in many of the GH games for Wii when emulated on dolphin. |
