Animal Crossing: City Folk and Going Online - Tadrakyn - 03-18-2010 Hi there Dolphin community. First off, to the development team, great work with everything. Not only have you produced a well-working and constantly updated emulator, you have also given it a very user friendly GUI that all other emulators lack. I have been playing AC-CF for a few days now and it has been running great (using rev - 5203) but one concern of mine is that Netplay has been removed from the latest REVs it seems. So there are tow questions here: First, was it ever possible to connect to other Animal Crossing players using the Netplay? I desire greatly to connect to my fiance's town. Also, I have been dabbling in programming a bit lately, strictly inspired by updating dolphin to the latest REVs, and I would like to know if it is probable that a fully working 'internet' plugin will ever arise. I know that the Netplay plugin was P2P, but it would be nice to someday be able to use all games' online features, at least the ones that don't require subscriptions. Sorry if someone has made a similar post, I'm posting from my phone so it's hard to search for posts. RE: Animal Crossing: City Folk and Going Online - GodRays - 03-18-2010 I don't see why it wouldn't be possible ... I'd like to use the Internet Channel to surf one day, with my real Wiimote, on my PC, haha, just for kicks ! We could possibly play from PC with real Wii players etc. I could play with myself ! (that last one sounded weird) |
