how to shake using mouse? - moro123 - 03-13-2010 Hi all, I installed dolphin couple of days ago and started to play Endless Ocean 2 using my mouse. I don't have sensor bar so I couldn't use the real wiimote. however, I specified a button for "shake" from wiimote configuration. I started playing the game where I had some graphic problems only in the sea surface part (e.g. if I look upward). the main problem that when I reach to the part where I have to shake the remote to avoid the large humpback whale, nothing happens ( although I tried it when feeding other fishes and it worked). can anyone help me with that? thanks RE: how to shake using mouse? - Ocean - 03-13-2010 Dolphin doesn't yet support motion accelerated movements by mouse. You can only try remapping all pitch, roll and shake buttons, and try if any of them work for passing that point. Unfortunately, not all games can be fully finished or experienced without real wiimote, due to issues like this. Pretty much anything that requires depth movements such as pulling back nunchuck/mote in a certain angle, some shakes, etc.. Either need a recorded movement, or a real wiimote. If you want shake record for your WiimoteMovement.ini, copy all this code there. RE: how to shake using mouse? - Ocean - 03-13-2010 Disable widescreen hack, and use efb copy to RAM. If you put it in texture the game is distorted or wont play at all. Also, remapping is fortunately easy. Go to wiimote plugin (the rightmost icon), click on button mapping. Then just click on any function you want to mimic with keyboard, and attach a key to it. (Note: Remap the wiimote controls, not nunchuck). RE: how to shake using mouse? - Melk - 06-22-2011 Hoping this thread isn't dead yet ![]() Thanks for the code Ocean... it did fix the Whale issue although I had to attach a standard controller to the emulated Wiimote to make it work. Since then, no problems UNTIL came the time to train my partner new tricks which require different shaking speeds (I think)... Is there a way to have more than one WiimoteMovements.ini (say, one for X, Y and Z?) Thanks in advance... in the meantime I'll try changing the Playbackspeed parameter to see if it helps -- if it does work, I'm assuming that I'll only be able to do one type of tricks until I rechange it again... that's why I was asking for different WiimoteMovements.ini for each axis.. might help complete the emulation of the Wiimote. Regards, M RE: how to shake using mouse? - Melk - 06-22-2011 nm, just bought the games (EO1, EO2 & Zelda TP)/Wii Console (testing time is over, I LOVE the Wii & Endless Ocean(s)). Thanks for Dolphin, it allowed me to make an informed decision about my purchase. Strangely enough, I found the controls on the PC easier than the Wii, but then again, I just got it, so I assume I'll need some time to get used to it. Regards, M |
