Black screen when using Direct 3D - jd05 - 03-12-2010
Hello all,
I am trying to get better frame rates playing Metriod Prime and was told that D3D might help, but when I choose that option I get a black screen. The game seems to run just fine as you can hear the sounds but you can't see a thing. (Actually, you can see the Dolphin commands up top in yellow, but nothing of the game itself.)
I tried this on two computers using more than one revision of dolphin. Currently using r5163. The specific settings I am using for the game are what's been generally recommended on this site, but maybe there is something simple I am missing when trying D3D.
The two computers are completely different: video cards, processors, OSes, everything, but it's the same black screen. What I am missing?
