Wiimote disconnected by system driving me nuts - kingb33 - 03-09-2010
I saw this somewhere in a thread that talked about this but i cant seem to find it anymore. With certain games i randomly get this error:
Wiimote 1 has been disconnected by system. Maybe this game doesn't support multi remote, or maybe its due to idle timeout or other reason. Do you want to reconnect immediately?
I have 2 questions.
1) Why does it do this? Much older revisions never did this from what i remember.
2) How can it be fixed? It's super annoying and only happens at the beginning of games mostly when you first start them.

Use revisions where the auto reconnect patch got applied. I also DONT understand why it's not implemented or at least toggleable...!
Of course it's just a hack around the real disconnection issue (and that is out of question!), BUT it's highly increasing the comfort as long the real issue is not fixed itself and thats the whole point.
However i don't care if they don't add it @svn, cuz i have patched it out anyways in my own builds, but it's sad.

1+ to apply wiimote reconnection patch @svn revisions ! Because it's a very important and easy patch !

Hey thx for the response, how can I tell if a revision someone compiles has the patch applied? I tried to go to your revisions but the link in you sig doesn't work. Does a particular compile person like Ocean always apply this patch?
