final fantasy iv the after years - newtodolphin - 03-04-2010 Hello, I'm getting a good 60 fps in battle and menu screen but only around 30 fps on map. Are there anything I can do to boost this? Also, does anyone have cheat codes for this game? TIA RE: final fantasy iv the after years - nosound97 - 03-04-2010 Well, not enough information here. What are your PC specs? What is the Dolphin version you use? Which settings? Explain it to us in detail. RE: final fantasy iv the after years - newtodolphin - 03-05-2010 Sorry, I'm running window 7 x32, athlon 620 at 3.38gzh, gt 240, 4g ocz ram (however, it says only 2.75g usable), running r5135, opengl with efb to text, everything else default. And its actually 27/28 fps on non battle/menu screen. Thanks RE: final fantasy iv the after years - darkshadw - 03-05-2010 Ooh I want to tell your something first newtodolphin .Go to start then type msconfig and hit enter. After that go to boot computer (or something like that, my pc is not in English but dutch) and then hit advanced settings. If u see something with maximum memory uncheck the box. This is for ur RAM, cuz it says u can only use 2.75 GB Sorry for my bad English... ...
RE: final fantasy iv the after years - xat - 03-05-2010 He said he's using win7 x86, so unless it has the memory management capability of x64 he'll be capped @ 2-3gb. Are there anything I can do to boost this? You need to increase the framelimit to 60 or higher to get full speed, i also had 30 fps ingame but messing with framelimit fixed this issue, increasing framelimit fix many games i must add, it fixed Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Mario Kart Wii and Resident Evil 4 (intro video was laggin and static audio). Edit: Also the graphic will look mess up unless you put it to native resolution. RE: final fantasy iv the after years - newtodolphin - 03-06-2010 I followed the steps for the memory but the max memory box was never checked. Anyway, I had it at 60 and it was still walking slow, but I found a code to increase 2x speed walking so everything is fine now. Thanks all for your inputs. |
