Dolphin is slow on mid range pc - nick8195 - 03-04-2010 My Specs Are, AMD Phenom X4 9950 BE @2.66GHZ 9800GT 1GB 2 GB Of Ram Windows 7 64Bit My Settings Are, Configuration Dual Core Idle Skipping Enable Cheats Frame Limit Auto HLE the IPL Jit Recompiler Use Panic Handlers Graphics (Direct3D9) Full Screen Force 4:3 Standard Full Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Windowed Resolution 640x480 Safe Texture Cache OFF Enable CPU-EFB Access OFF EFB Scaled Copy EFB Copy To Texture Sound (DSP-HLE) Enable HLE Audio Enable DTK Music Enable Audio Throttle Enable RE0 Hack OFF Audio Backend - DSound I am able to run games such as New Super Mario Bros.Perfectly. To name a few Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Muramasa The Demon Blade, And New Super Mario Bros. However when trying to run a game such as Sonic and the Black Knight My FPS is only about 10-20 The same goes for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle And The Conduit. I have the speedhacks enabled for both games and changing the resolution has no impact on speed at all. Do I have something wrong with my Settings? Why is it going slow? RE: Dolphin is slow on mid range pc - cmccmc - 03-04-2010 because dolphin only uses two cores and your pc only runs at 2.66ghz it's going to be slow RE: Dolphin is slow on mid range pc - Diddy Kong - 03-04-2010 There is nothing wrong with your pc, the emulator is under development, and you call that mid range? RE: Dolphin is slow on mid range pc - nosound97 - 03-04-2010 For games that use speedhacks you gotta disable "Other Audio" in DSP settings |
