Billy Hatcher: And The Giant Egg - Testing - poksley - 03-04-2010 Hi there. now I've searched the internet for quite some time now and never stumpled across any thread mentioning anything about Billy Hatcher, which is rather sad now when it's kind of one of the classics on the GC. (might there be a reason why it havent been noticed? i dunno)Now, i've tried to run the PAL version and was rather surprised when it was running at full speed (50 fps steady), tho i havent been able to fix some of the graphic glitches i've encountered.. Now, i want to fix the anoying glitch, so what do you suggest would be the basic settings for games which havent been tested yet? or even better, do someone have the ability to test it and post the best settings? i've found it best running at the Direct3D9 with these settings (attachments) [attachment=2647] [attachment=2648] [attachment=2649] Heres a short Youtube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6fhjDP6vmU RE: Billy Hatcher: And The Giant Egg - Testing - GodRays - 03-04-2010 Is this an older revision, it looks a little different than mine. Try with the latest (~5148) RE: Billy Hatcher: And The Giant Egg - Testing - poksley - 03-04-2010 What settings do you use ? i've tried r5150 and i've only experienced it getting harder to make it even playable :S it slows down to 20fps and cant get past the intro :S are you using the OpenGL or DX9 plugin? Edit: im using the latest official revision (~4771) More specifically, how do you fix the Glitch with the multiple Player Character shadows :S any specific settings i need to look at considering it being a texture based error? I'm using 7351. Almost all GC games run for me at a pretty good speed, but this one drags along at 40% or so, and it sure doesn't look like a very graphics-intensive game. There must be some settings that can get this up to speed. RE: Billy Hatcher: And The Giant Egg - Testing - gabroche - 04-22-2011 I am using r7468 with DX9 and it's runing full speed perfect execpt a little graphic glitch ( all the caracters are dark...) That's supposed to happen in the game since light is stolen. You must beat the stage for light to return. |
