Xfire Broadcasting - Crevox - 02-26-2010 Hello everyone, I've managed to get xfire working within dolphin. I can send messages perfectly fine, and I can even record video. However, if I try to broadcast, it crashes after about 2 seconds with the generic "Dolphin has stopped working." Does anyone have any insight on how to get around this problem? I'm using SVN R5030 and DirectX. I used the following xfire_games.ini info to get it to detect and fully work within dolphin: [6123] LongName=Dolphin (Wii) ShortName=Wii LauncherExe=Dolphin.exe Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% _LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% _LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% InGameRenderer=D3D9 InGameFlags=VALIDATE_USING_EXE_NAME RE: Xfire Broadcasting - GodRays - 02-26-2010 Post in Xfire forum, it's their job to properly hook their overlay on top of Dolphin. What's "broadcasting" anyway ? @ Apostacious : Then why did you post yourself ? RE: Xfire Broadcasting - Apostacious - 02-26-2010 why would you post if you have no answer godrays... but yes go to the xfire forums too, i don't think anyone here broadcasts dolphin gameplay, i don't know why would you ![]() so you might not get a good answer. >.> RE: Xfire Broadcasting - Crevox - 02-27-2010 Xfire uses the same method to broadcast on every game, it's just Dolphin doesn't like it for some reason (thus, it's a dolphin problem, not an xfire problem). Xfire does not initially support Dolphin, I had to modify the file so that the ingame would work. The xfire forums would know less about this than dolphin does, and wouldn't be able to provide any sort of possible solution.
