linux kernel now supports wii and gc: useful for dolphin too? - algarues - 02-15-2010
As it is reported from the latest kernel logs (see link)

the linux kernel can now also support the GC and Wii hardware.
Could it be that some pieces of that code could be used to improve the dolphin code?
