Segmentation Fault on Ubuntu 8.10 - Ioniviil - 04-17-2009 Hi everyone. I'm new here so please treat me kindly .My problem is the said. I start Dolphin on my Ubuntu 8.10, and when I load the game (Super Smash Brothers Melee) it crashes completely, and says "Segmentation Fault" as its last line of message. In my machine, I also have Windows XP installed, and when I try to run the same game, (and the only one I got) it DOESN'T crashes, even more, using none of the "speed enhancers" I get 30 fps, so I don't think its my computer. Here are my computer specs: Intel core 2 quad at 2.4 GHz per core. 2 GB of ram 300 GB SATA2 hard drive 512 MB GeForce 8500 GT in PCI-E Thanks in advance. I would like to add something really funny. You know by now that if I start the game with the Linux Dolphin, it crashes, and from windows not. Well, the funny thing is that, if I run the windows version using wine (the windows binary layer implementation in linux), it runs!! .Of course it suffers the performance penalty of the virtualization. But its playable, though. Anyway, I still want to have my Linux version running
