Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - KHRZ - 02-09-2010 Remember back in November when this forum was flooded with people who had all bought New Super Mario Bros. Wii early in Astralia? We all know much of this flood had a different source, and now this source has seen dire consequenses... http://www.vooks.net/story-18881-Nintendo-Australia-wins-court-case-against-New-Super-Mario-Bros-pirater.html Is this guy paying for YOUR game? RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - Apostacious - 02-09-2010 hahaha I lol'd xD but i think you have to remove the poll because you can't ask users that. 1.5 mil doesn't seem nearly enough tho, they went easy on him. RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - KHRZ - 02-09-2010 The poll is kinda a joke... I don't expect any pirates to vote here But if they did, who know what'd occur ![]() (I can guess) RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - Apostacious - 02-09-2010 lol ill go check out when the first nsmb thread was made muahahah

RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - ugoo - 02-09-2010 That's gotta suck and now their thinking of pushing release dates in Australia back to what they use to be NSMB was the released here before other US and Europe now Australia might go back to having to wait weeks or months for releases to come to there RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - KHRZ - 02-09-2010 The whole pushing Australian release date argument is BS, If Australia gets the game first, others will pirate from them, and if other regions gets it first, Australians will pirate from those. If they want a solution release the game everywhere at the same time. RE: Nintendo pirate fined 1.5 million Australian dollars - ugoo - 02-09-2010 Even of they do someone somewhere will still pirate it unless they use cartridge's or something like that like they used back in the N64, Snes and NES days then piracy will still be a problem cause for some people it's easier than buying the disc but pirating a cartridge now that's something that's pretty much useless since you might end up spending more than the actual game might cost |
