Multiple Input Devices - thr3zims - 06-22-2023

I just started using Dolphin Emulator, and I'm trying to figure some stuff out with the controls. I want to use my Xbox controller as my primary input device and my mouse for other inputs. I can't find any way to use both simultaneously without switching the emulator back and forth. I've used Google and the Dolphin forums, but I can't find any successful solutions.

Any help or clarification on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
thr3zims

If you're looking to do something advanced with having multiple inputs mapped to the same input you can use the Advanced input option for each button to map multiple inputs

I've tried that several times and no, that is not what I'm trying to do. I am trying to map inputs from multiple DEVICES to one Wiimot input. For example, "spacebar" on keyboard and "A" on Xbox controller for "A" on Wiimote.

I'm also trying to figure out how to prevent the tilt from moving the pointer. When I use forward and backward tilt, it moves the pointer down and up, respectively.

Any help or clarification with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

You can do that using the advanced input options.

That isn't possible. Dolphin simulates how a real Wii Remote works, and you can't tilt a real Wii Remote without affecting the pointer. Some games rely on the pointer behaving in this way, like Zelda: Skyward Sword.
