Switch Pro/8bitdo analog stick problems - Jupu - 02-24-2023 Heyo, I've been trying to get Dolphin x64 -GC games specifically- to work with my Switch Pro controller (connected with 8bitdo and no issues in any other programs/games). Dolphin detects the controller and most of the buttons work just fine, but both analog sticks only move horizontally and not vertically at all. I noticed a lot of people recommended running Dolphin through Steam but unfortunately that wasn't the solution for me, as the sticks don't move vertically that way either. Steam itself detects them just fine and they work properly in the Steam controller config screen, though, it's just Dolphin that has problems from what I've seen. I'm not sure where to start fixing this, so I'd appreciate any help/input. Thanks! EDIT: Upon restarting my PC a couple of times, I found out it's not necessarily an analog stick problem, as the sticks started working but other buttons randomly stopped working even though they worked fine before (Y and A on the first restart, A and B on the second restart). Makes me think there's a set number of buttons/controls it can detect and it just randomly disables some that go above that number? I have no idea if that's the case, but that's how it seems to me right now, haha. RE: Switch Pro/8bitdo analog stick problems - KHg8m3r - 02-24-2023 Does this happen in the latest dev/beta build? Your profile shows that you're using a fairly old build of Dolphin. |
