WII GUITAR HERO CONTROLLER - RANDOMRANDOM - 02-14-2023
I've been trying to connect my Wii guitar via raphnet to dolphin but it doesn't seem to respond to any of the buttons. I used the "real wii remote" option as opposed to emulated remote. When i do so there is not a "configure" option since it is greyed out. I believe this is because it should work as is but it still doesn't seem to.
Any thoughts?
If it matters at all im trying to do this on a Mac. I also have a PC which also didn't work and seems to probably make the situation worse. Gamepad Tester also doesn't recognize the guitar unless i connect an additional controller of any kind then it appears.

If you're connecting the guitar controller via a Wii Remote, use Real Wii Remote. If you're connecting the guitar controller via a Raphnet adapter, use Emulated Wii Remote, and set its Extension to Guitar.

ok thats good to know thank you very much. It still doesnt work though. i did try this way before though and i managed to map out all the buttons etc. but even then for some reason it STILL didnt work so i thought it needed to just be set to "Real Wii Remote". then i went and tried it on Windows which nothing happened at all no input whatsoever. Then when i went back to try on Mac there was no input at all unlike before when i managed to map out the buttons. now nothing shows up. I tried Gamepad Tester and it doesnt even recognize that the guitar is connected until i connect a whole other controller then both may show up at the same time.
Also i tried to take a look on the Raphnet Manager app which oobviously recognizes the adapter but it says "no controller" while the guitar is connected so im starting to think the guitar itself is no good even though it is literally brand new..
