Netplay Issues - Escucharbog - 12-17-2022

Me and My friend want to play the Pikmin 2 Story Mode Multiplayer mod by PikHacker through netplay. We made sure we have the Same version of dolphin, the same memory card, and the same game ISO. When either of us tries hosting the game, the other joins for a split second then gets kicked. We have no clue what to do?

Have you tried any other games?

Are you using Traversal or Direct?

It looks to me like authentication is failing.
I haven't used netplay but I use an ethernet bridge for an online GameCube game that uses broadband to connect and I have seen that connect followed by instant disconnect occur when the handshaking fails for some reason. For example, if the client session already exists or the client is trying to connect to a game that had already ended.
Another problem is if the client PC gets a flood of initial data to process and cannot respond in time.
