Trouble connecting Wii Remote trough Bluetooth - carlosrene66 - 10-16-2022
So I've been struggling trying to connect my wii remote to my pc correctly
I have a -TR controller and an Asus USB-BT400 Bluetooth adapter, Neither seem to be malfunctioning, the problem I'm having is that my Wii remote just doesn't want to connect properly to the emulated Wii's bluetooth adapter, what i think is causing the problem is the fact that my Wii remote keeps connecting to my windows native bluetooth settings instead of Dolphin (link), and if it does connect to Dolphin; it connects to both dolphin and the native bluetooth, causing them both to fight over my remote and causing it to connect and disconnect from dolphin constantly.
I've tried many fixes, like disconnecting it from my bluetooth devices, uninstalling the Wii remote from device manager or stopping the bluetooth services and then re-enabling them, but these just make my Wii remote disconnect from both my pc and dolphin or just straight up making my Wii remote not function. One solution i can think of is making my Wii remote forget it had connected to my pc, making it ask for a PIN again but I just cant figure out how to make that happen.
If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know!

Have you tried exiting Steam (if you have it running in background)? A recent Steam update added Wiimote support and lots of issues started happening with Dolphin if Steam is running...

Im almost disappointed in myself, thank you so much! This fixed all of the problems I had, you're a life saver
