cant uninstall, need to reinstall - cubeman329 - 07-10-2022
can someone help me? im trying to uninstall dolphin 5.0-16793 because all of a sudden the textures all went bad it had like letters and numbers out of place everywhere and i even tried deleting and reinstalling the games i use but it wont let me delete, if i try through explorer it says its deleting them then i refresh and theyre still there. i tried deleting with command prompt and powershell but it just says access is denied
also there is no uninstall program
can someone help me please?

I don't know why deleting isn't working, but the problem with the letters and numbers is most likely caused by having Graphics > Advanced > Texture Format Overlay enabled.

dont worry i figured it out, you open notepad, select "qgif.dll" ctrl + a then delete everything in there then save then you can delete it
i figured it out because i tried copying the folder to see if it worked and i used 7z to copy and it gave me an "access is denied" error on qgif.dll, however it did bypass recycle bin so i dont have a screenshot

oh my god it was i feel so stupid i deleted all my save data ?
