Save game issue in Star Fox Adventures - staticvoid83 - 07-07-2022 Hello, after I played Star Fox Adventures for a while the game messaged me something like "the memory card you are using is not the one you started this game with". Since then I do not have the option to save the game any more. I did not care because I was mostly using save states instead. But now I would like to have my progress also saved on an emulated memory card. Is there a way to eject and reconnect the emulated memory card while the game is running? My hope is that it detects that and shows me the saving option again. If I restart the whole game I can see my my memory card save that is very old. So I am sure it generally works. But what I need is that the game detects the card from a loaded game state. How to achieve that? Thank you in advance! RE: Save game issue in Star Fox Adventures - ExtremeDude2 - 07-07-2022 You cannot fix this error; it is caused by using savestates. RE: Save game issue in Star Fox Adventures - AdmiralCurtiss - 07-07-2022 Most games that do this will let you save if they detect *no* file on the memory card rather than a *mismatching* file. So try deleting the save on your card (via deleting the file in the GCI folder, or using the Memory Card Manager), then saving from the savestate. |
