Using a WiiU Adapter on 3.0-232 - vLity - 05-14-2022 As the title says, I am trying to use a GCube controller with a WiiU Adapter on v3.0-232 x64 for Windows. From my understanding, Dolphin does not have built in support to use this on the older version. How would I go about using a controller on this version? I am using an older version because of a specific game I am trying to play, which is rendered unplayable on the newer versions of Dolphin. The only confirmed playable version is on v3.0-232. RE: Using a WiiU Adapter on 3.0-232 - MayImilae - 05-14-2022 What game is this? RE: Using a WiiU Adapter on 3.0-232 - vLity - 05-15-2022 Yu-Gi-Oh The Falsebound Kingdom RE: Using a WiiU Adapter on 3.0-232 - MayImilae - 05-15-2022 Oh, right, -that game-. So I don't know how to do this, I don't think anyone really does, but here are my best guesses? So our Wii U adapter support was added in 4.0-4594. That's like 4 years after 3.0-232, but at least it isn't 11 years. So you'd probably have more luck merging in the original PR into a fork of 3.0-232 than copying from modern Dolphin into an 11 year old one, especially since we've seen some major controller overhauls in the past 4 years or so. Alternatively you could try copying the entire Controller base from modern Dolphin into 3.0-232. Not sure which would be easier to be honest. It will be hard either way! Good luck. |
