"disconnected by emulated software" - kwhob1991 - 04-27-2022 Hello, I am receiving the error in the subject line. I am aware this has been posted elsewhere, MANY times, however their solutions either don't work or are missing some important details. My Wiimote is detected by the DolphinBar and Dolphin, and it vibrates when I press "Refresh". When I start a game, the error appears and the game waits for me to reconnect the Wiimote. When I press alt+f5. It connects and vibrates, then immediately disconnects again. Someone mentioned providing some kind of log file. I don't know how to do this, and they never ended up explaining how to generate this log file. Could someone explain how to do this? There are two solutions I want to try, but I need more information: -One solution I want to try is to use a different bluetooth stack. However, I have absolutely no clue what this means or how to do this. Also, the thread that mentioned this solution is over ten years old so I don't know if it is still relevant. Could someone suggest this? And is there a good step-by-step guide on how to do this? -The other solution is to delete the config file. However, no one has specified the exact filename. I need to know the precise filename to ensure I do not delete the wrong file. Could someone confirm the filename of the config file? Mentioned/attempted solutions that did/do not work for me: -reinstalling Dolphin -using the latest dev build -ctrl+f4 in-game -alt+f5 in-game -running Dolphin as Administrator -turning off continuous scanning -turning off controller speaker data -disconnecting the Wiimote then connecting it again -resyncing the Wiimote -creating an empty portable.txt file in the same directory as the Dolphin executable -disconnecting the nunchuck You can look at my profile for computer/dolphin specifications. I am using a Mayflash DolphinBar with an official Wiimote (RVL-003). If there is anything you need from me to help in troubleshooting let me know! Like I mentioned, I would like to generate the log file if it would be helpful. RE: "disconnected by emulated software" - ExtremeDude2 - 04-27-2022 What Wiimote are you using? Also, I would definitely not recommend changing the bluetooth stack, the Windows one is best and I'm not sure any other would even work with a dolphin bar. I think that is the problem. I just learned the game I was trying to play (Skyward Sword) does not support RVL-003. I ordered an official RVL-036, and will report back with the result. That's not true. Skyward Sword works with the original RVL-003 as long as you connect a MotionPlus accessory to it. I already ordered an RVL-036 though. Maybe later I can order an accessory for the 003 just to see if it works. RE: "disconnected by emulated software" - kwhob1991 - 05-02-2022 New controller arrived and the problem is resolved. Skyward Sword works great! |
