Metroid Prime 2 Widescreen hack issue - FuxorLuck - 04-19-2022
Hey the widescreen keeps changing between 16:9 and 4:3 streched
I found this post on reddit

is there any other solution that isn't downgrade dolphin for a version that is 2 years old or playing the wii version?

Try using Primehack, a custom version of dolphin built specifically for the Prime games, best thing I've ever used, and 0 issues whatsoever, widescreen fixes should already be implemented and performance will be better most likely

I found a solution for the normal version of dolphin
you need to use this gecko code instead of dolphin widescreen option

You could use "Force 4:3" or "Force 16:9" in the Graphics settings.

Force 16:9 doesn't work since the game will just change sometimes to 4:3 streched, if you want to play this game on a widescreen you need a specific code
