Graphicgliches on Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra 5G - Bombi - 02-07-2022
Hey
First i'm sorry for my bad English, i'm from Germany.
Today i got my new Phone, the Samsug Galaxy s21 Ultra 5G with Android 12.
I was really exited to install Dolphin, because it was my first phone witch should be able to run Dolphin.
But when i tried to start a Rom i constantly get graphicgliches, the games where literally not playable.
I got the problem with all Rom's i tried, about 10 pieces.
I tried different Versions of Dolphin, none has a better result.
At the moment i run Version 5.0-15445 from the Play store.
I tried to change some settings of the Emulator, but none have a good result.
Is this a none problem? I even tried to reset the phone, i really don't know what to do

I've heard glitches like this reported from some (but not all) Android 12 users. But unfortunately I don't think anyone knows exactly what the issue is caused by or how it can be fixed.
Do you know if you have the Snapdragon version or the Exynos version of the phone?

It has something to do with opengl which happens since android 12. If you set your games to vulkan things will work fine. It's pretty strange indeed.

I think it's the Snapdragon, but i'm not sure if i'm honest.
Are there any instructions how i get Vulkan?
i couldn't find anything usefull on google

You just need to change the Backend setting in Dolphin. It's the first setting under Graphics Settings.

The new OneUI 4.1 updated fixed this issue for me!
