Modding newbie interested in creating a HD texture pack - MegaCatYu - 01-27-2022 I've recently taken an interest in modding, and there's this VN called Another Code R which I want to create a texture pack for. I know how to dump and replace textures, but I have a few questions. What would be the best way to replace a font? I'm mainly worried about keeping consistent letter spacing. Is there an ESGRAN model that's particularly for upscaling watercolor-esque textures? The game's art style heavily relies on these, so I want to preserve the effect as best as possible when upscaling. RE: Modding newbie interested in creating a HD texture pack - Venomalia - 01-28-2022 As an AI network I can recommend ESRGAN Pytorch, with other Ai I always have problems with the alpa channel. for repeating textures, the seamless mode is very handy. Model differ very much, just try some out, https://upscale.wiki/wiki/Model_Database Here you will find suitable upscaling models. RE: Modding newbie interested in creating a HD texture pack - iwubcode - 01-28-2022 To add onto what Venomalia said, if you are on windows and wish to leverage AI, I recommend Cupscale. RE: Modding newbie interested in creating a HD texture pack - MegaCatYu - 01-30-2022 Thank you Venomalia and iwubcode, I will look at Cupscale and the upscaling models you sent. |
