Metroid Prime Controller Set-up Help - shadowdemon009 - 01-17-2022

So, im playing Gamecube games i remember fondly, and i do not remember the controls being this weird for Prime. I'll be fine with not being able to free aim, i just want to move the aim left and right from the movement stick to the C-stick. I tried doing this in the Gamecube controller settings by changing left and right C-stick to left and right movement stick, but it made it left and right D-pad in-game...
I have a controller with extra buttons, so i can move things around if needed, but this issue is throwing me off. if i can get this to work, it would make the gameplay much more enjoyable (up and down isnt needed, but i am currently downloading the Wii version; is there is a way to convert Wii motion into stick format? for that matter, under Wii controls, i dont see any way to remap anything to a normal controller??)
If there is a Wii motion conversion, the 6 extra buttons will be more than enough to move the C-stick inputs to the back plate buttons.

Did some testing, ill be able to move the C-stick to the D-pad and move the D-pad to back-plate buttons.
