Access issue (don't quite know how to label it) - cyborgjustice - 12-27-2021
This is my first time using dolphin. Everything seems fine except for a system problem. I'm trying to access a wii file but it is labeled as a gamecube file. I need to know how to switch this so I can access the wii file. A general explanation of how to do this would be very helpful. I can send an image of the issue if I did not explain it well.

Could you give us more information please? Like the name of the game in question, or a screenshot?

Yes. The game is mario kart wii. When I uploaded the game, it recognized it as or put in the category of a gamecube game. I don't know how to turn it into a wii game. When I try to access it's properties it says I am trying to decrypt data from a non-wii volume. So I guess what i'm looking for is how to change the volume from gamecube to wii.

The game is mario kart wii. I uploaded it to the emulator but the volume is set to the gamecube. I'd like to know how to change the volume from gamecube to wii.

You converted the game to the NKit format, right? Simply don't do that, and it should work.
