playing .bin virtual console games on Dolphin - chard - 11-29-2021 I bought virtual console games from the wii store a long time ago and I would like to play them on my Dolphin emulator. Is this possible? They are all .bin files. RE: playing .bin virtual console games on Dolphin - JosJuice - 11-29-2021 I'm assuming these are files that you copied from your Wii to an SD card? If so, they're encrypted with a console-specific key. If you dump the NAND memory of the console and import it into Dolphin, you'll be able to use Dolphin to copy the .bin files from a virtual SD card into the emulated Wii Menu. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=NAND_Usage_Guide https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Virtual_SD_Card_Guide If you don't have a NAND dump of the console, and you don't have access to the console anymore to make one, then I'm afraid it isn't possible to use the files you have. RE: playing .bin virtual console games on Dolphin - chard - 11-29-2021 I'll check out your guide, thanks! |
