Dolphin Emulator not recognizing GameCube Games - Steve Wilkos - 10-20-2021

Hey everyone. I downloaded Dolphin 5.0 today and I'm having a LOT of trouble getting it to work.

I have a folder with the Metroid Prime ISO that's configured as a path, but it simply does not show up. I've even tried dragging the ISO file directly to the Dolphin Window (which I've done successfully with VBA and P64) but that doesn't work either.

Would anyone have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you sure you have a valid ISO? Have you tried the latest beta version of dolphin?

I actually just figured out the issue. When I checked the properties of the files I had for the GC games, they were actually 7z files. I was not familiar with these type of files so upon doing a google search thinking I needed a program to convert them to ISOs or something, but I found out these are actually zip files that required me to download the 7-Zip program to extract the ISOs.

I didn't initially realize they were zip files because the file image is just that blank white piece of paper as opposed to the yellow zip folder that WINRAR zip files would appear as.

Thank you for the help regardless!
