Red screen in Bare Knuckle games on the Japanese Sonic Gems Collection - Arch Pete - 09-19-2021

I didn't tinker with the game or did anything with it, but it shows a blood red screen on Bare Knuckle (Streets of Rage), Bare Knuckle II (Streets of Rage 2), and Bare Knuckle III (Streets of Rage 3) on the NTSC-J version of Sonic Gems Collection instead of the title screen. How to fix that?

Can anyone find a solution

  • Make sure that you are using the latest beta/development version of Dolphin.
  • Are you using NKit ISO format? If yes, then avoid using NKit ISO, and use either WBFS/ISO.
  • Also try changing your graphics backend to OpenGL or Direct3D.

If all this doesn’t help, then open Dolphin > Right click on the icon of the game in games list > Properties > Verify > Verify Integrity
And then post the screenshot of the result here.
It might be a bad dump.

Turns out I was using US cheats on a Japanese ISO, I deleted them and the Streets of Rage games work now.
