Dolphin 5.0-15185 netplay wii saves not syncing - Rednd - 09-18-2021
I don't know how to solve this issue, in Netplay in the data section i have Write Save Data, Load Wii Save, Sync Saves, and Sync All Wii Saves enabled. but it will not work.
Also when Load Wii Save is enabled, an error appears saying "Error synchronizing save data!" and doesn't even start the session. However when Load Wii Save is disabled, the session starts, but obviously no data will load.
can anyone please help me with this?

Is your session writing a save file to your dolphin directory if you play without "Load wii save data"? Perhaps one of you has a save data and the other does not, and causing an error? If so maybe you could delete the save data for both players and start over? Or have you tried manually syncing the saves? By sharing the file and copying it to the dolphin save directory on the other computer?
Do you have an SD card set up? Maybe one of you has an SD card and one doesn't?
Have you tried setting up clean dolphin install for both players? Try making a new folder for dolphin for both players and create a portable.txt so it is not getting anything from your normal dolphin settings. https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/controlling-global-user-directory/#Disable_the_Global_User_Directory_for_a_Specific_Build_with_.22portable.txt.22 (Try this first)

i have seen this thread before i made mine, but it didn't help me. when i get the time to try out all these things i will. i'll be back here if theres still an issue or to tell you if it worked. thank you!
