Auto-update causes large FPS drop - ricky_spanish - 09-10-2021
I downloaded the 5.0 stable version a couple months back and played through all of Metroid Prime 1 and currently through MP 2 Echoes without any issues until Dolphin auto-updated to version 5.0-15105 yesterday. Now the FPS/VPS keeps dropping to 30-40 instead of the solid 60 it was at the last month or so. I have not changed any of the base settings.
I uninstalled Dolphin and clicked the 5.0 stable version download link, but when I reinstalled and opened it back up it still says 5.0-15105. So I uninstalled again and reinstalled using the 5.0-14790 version file that was somehow on my computer already. But when I open Dolphin, it still says 5.0-15105.
Is there anyway to go back to the previous version before Dolphin auto-updated itself? Just want the game to run as smooth as it did before.

I have the same issue, before the autoupdate all my games are unplayable, I´ve been playing like a week with no problems.
