GC games crash when loading save - Deivmsr - 08-23-2021
I believe this is the best way to report and record this problem. It turns out that since development build "5.0-14903" some gamecube games are crashing after loading the save. And the problem persists in recent builds. Examples of games where this issue occurs are Sonic Heroes, SpongeBob The Movie and Asterix & Obelix XXL. This forces me to go back to version "5.0-14901". I apologize if there is any concordance error in this text because I am using the translator converting from Portuguese to English. My device is Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, Snapdragon 865, Android 11.

Unfortunately the problem persists in build "5.0_14966".

The problem still persists in recent builds and confirmed that it also happens on Android 10, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Snapdragon 845. Game tested: Sonic Heroes.

Also, could you let me know which region your copy of Sonic Heroes is? PAL, NTSC-U or NTSC-J?

In this build the games work normally. Sonic Heroes is the USA version, so I think it's NTSC-U.

Okay, thanks. I'll try to get this merged as a workaround while figuring out the actual source of the bug.
And yes, the USA version is NTSC-U.
