Okay, I have a beginner tier question to ask: how will the games look with such high resolutions? The Wii games could be a-okay, but the GameCube ones? They would often look pixelated if you played them on a big TV.

The game element edges scale up just fine, as they aren’t composed of pixels, but are essentially “shapes.” Textures don’t scale quite so well, but mostly look alright. High resolution custom texture packs are a popular enhancement people like to use. 

If you want to see what these games look like go to youtube and type in “Dolphin 1080p <game name>“ and you'll see plenty of examples.
