You could try searching a thread or in Google about the game you are playing for optimal settings.
Mm...Because each game has its own configuration or try and older REV (Sometimes they are a bit faster than newer)
Try:
Activing: Enable Dual Core, Idle Skipping, HLE the IPL, Optimize Quantiziers, DSP on thread
Setting: Framelimit: off. Wathdog: 15 or 25. Frameskipping: 1
DX9: Enable EFB copy to texture
DSP HLE: Only active: Enable HLE Audio.
