I couldn't find any I do on this
Does the android version of dolphin have a setting for the x86_64bit kit recompile instead of arm?

Yes, it does. But you can only use it if you have an x86-64 device, and almost no Android devices use x86-64.

Apparently the Zenfone 2 is one of those phones that have a 64-bit CPU but that don't have a 64-bit userland. So it can't actually run x86-64 code, just 32-bit x86 code.
