Black screen on any game using netplay - Fervantpigeon - 09-03-2020
It all works fine solo but when ever I do net play it’s just a black screen dual cores are off all of our settings and files and nand are the same we tried 5.0 and the net build and nothing the game we are trying to play is Kirby’s return to dream land l. We have sat on the black screen for 10 mins total the only way to close is to go to task manager we are using emulated Wii remotes as our controller and have the same control settings and graphics settings. We have been trying things all day and to no avail.

One player will configure remote 1, the other will configure remote 2, both must be enabled. (This differs from using NetPlay with GameCube controllers)
Have both peers set both Wii Remote 1 and 2 source to "Emulated"?
Has the NetPlay host assigned the Wii Remote slots in the NetPlay "lobby"?

We tried that and its still a black screen on both of our ends but the remotes now at least say their player via the lights at the bottom

let me also say we are using direct3d 11 and when ever we try to launch it the fps counter is always at 0

Please show screenshots of the Controllers dialog and of the assigned Wii remote slots in the NetPlay "lobby".
