Using CRT-Royale in Dolphin Emulator - PhysicBerry - 09-02-2020

CRT-Royale is generally considered one of the best CRT filters around, and is regularly used in RetroArch and other emulation programs. However, when trying to use it in Dolphin (the .glsl version, since it seems to be the only kind of shader Dolphin supports) I run into errors/difficulty. Does Dolphin not support multi-pass shaders, or is there a better way to use this shader with standalone Dolphin? Ideas are appreciated.

Can you provide a link to the shader?

Spoiler...multipass shaders are coming (along with a slew of other things). Smile No eta but I am working hard on it!

To answer your question, no, at the moment Dolphin doesn't support multipass shaders.

Sure, you can find the .glsl version of it here. It appears to be multi-pass and access other files, which I think is why it is called ".glslp" instead of just ".glsl" but I may be mistaken. Also, that sounds very exciting! I wish you luck on that, as it'd open the floodgates for what could be done with shaders in Dolphin.
