Windows 10 and MacOS Cannot Detect Wii Remote Via Bluetooth - rarkmaub - 09-01-2020 First time connecting a wii remote to a PC here, so feel free to point out anything I've done wrong! I bought this wii remote, and out of the box, it doesn't seem to show up in windows 10 bluetooth devices when I try to add it and hit 1+2 on the remote. I also have a rockcandy wii remote, and that doesn't seem to be detected by the PC either. I tried replacing my driver with the toshiba bluetooth stack, that didn't work. I've also tried connected to my macbook pro, no luck either. I'm going to try and borrow some 1st party wiimotes from a buddy of mine, but I'm not really sure why my remotes don't work? 3 brand new remotes, all not working. Any help would be rad! RE: Windows 10 and MacOS Cannot Detect Wii Remote Via Bluetooth - mbc07 - 09-02-2020 Dolphin's "Emulate a BT Adapter" mode is only guaranteed to work with genuine Nintendo Wiimotes, fake and 3rd party Wiimotes are hit or miss (generally a miss). Assuming your BT Adapter is compatible, you can try Dolphin's "Passthrough a BT Adapter" mode, on that mode the emulated games communicate with the BT Adapter directly, so any Wiimote that works on a a real Wii console (including fake and 3rd party ones) should theoretically work too with BT Passthrough... |
