Hi new here, with an GCU Adapter problem - Smas - 08-31-2020 Hi, I recently downloaded the Dolphin Emulator, tho I heard a lot of good things before and decided to try it out and the launching of games works perfectly fine. However my current problem is getting my Gamecube working with Dolphin. I took every necessary step I needed to connect it to Dolphin including: having the WiiU/Switch Gamecube Adapter (which is third Party) plugged into a USB 3.0 port, replacing my current driver using zadig to the requested one and finally Dolphin registering my WiiU Adapter and allowing me to turn on Rumble too and it works until I launch a game. The moment I launch the game, my WiiU Adapter goes from "detected" to "undetected" and switching to "detected" again over and over in the span of milliseconds. Idk why but it only happens when I launch a game, before it works just fine, saying "detected" without the other hassle. Here's a short clip of it malfunctioning, so you maybe will get a better idea of what I'm dealing with. https://gfycat.com/spotlesswideelephantseal Has anyone had this problem before or maybe knows how to fix it? Any help is appreciated
RE: Hi new here, with an GCU Adapter problem - JosJuice - 08-31-2020 This is a problem with third-party adapters that should have been fixed recently. I believe the fix isn't in the beta versions yet, so please download a development version of Dolphin to get the fix. However, even though the adapter is now detected and my controller is plugged into it, my controller doesn't work/register (and I tried multiple). No idea why RE: Hi new here, with an GCU Adapter problem - JosJuice - 08-31-2020 Ensure that the controller is plugged into port 1 and that the game you're playing supports GameCube controllers. Thanks a lot again for the fast replies. Apparently for this adapter the ports are in reversed order
