Metroid Prime audio crackling even with Time Stretching - hyperspeed - 08-21-2020
is there anything I can change to fix it?
those crackling on the audio doesn't happens on the main menu only during the gameplay.
My device is the Xiaomi Redmi 720

Enable the "Skip EFB from CPU Access" speedhack and see if that helps. What's the framerate like in actual gameplay?

i have it checked there, but looks like time stretch doesn't work, tried the mmj build and time stretch worked there... hmm.
anyway i was getting fullspeed during gameplay and i still wouldn't get good audio for some reason, but in the main menu audio is fine, must be a regression or something then, so odd

Try to find the line ''SyncOnSkipIdle'' in the dolphin.ini, in the config folder and set it to false. It works for me.

Please don't suggest this without explaining what it actually does. It increases the risk of instability and crashes by reducing how often the CPU and GPU threads synchronize.

OK sorry. I just suggest it to help him to resolve the audio crackling. He can try, for me it's stable and I don't have crash. If it is not stable, he can reset it to true.
